How often should my pool be cleaned?

Weekly service is the industry standard for most residential pools, especially in warm climates like Southern California. Pools with heavy foliage, wind exposure, or frequent use may benefit from twice-weekly visits during peak summer months.

Do I need to be home during service?

No. As long as we have gate access, a keypad code, or a key, our technicians can service your pool while you are away. You will receive a digital service report after each visit.

How quickly can service start?

Most new clients can begin weekly cleaning within a few business days of contacting us. Equipment repairs are typically scheduled within 24–48 hours.

Do you require a long-term contract?

No. Clearpool operates on a week-to-week basis with no cancellation fees and no long-term contracts. You can pause or stop service at any time with one week's notice.

What does a standard weekly cleaning include?

Every visit includes surface skimming, brushing walls and tile line, vacuuming the pool floor, emptying skimmer and pump baskets, testing and balancing water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, stabilizer), and a visual equipment inspection. A service report is emailed after each visit.

Are chemicals included in the monthly price?

Yes. Our Crystal and Sapphire plans include all standard chemicals and balancing at no extra charge. The Sparkle plan is cleaning-only; you provide your own chemicals.

Can you fix a green pool?

Yes. Green-to-clean recovery is one of our specialties. Depending on severity, recovery takes anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks and includes shock treatment, algaecide, extensive brushing, vacuuming, and filter cleaning.

Do you repair pool equipment?

Absolutely. Our certified technicians repair and replace pumps, motors, filters, heaters, salt chlorine generators, automation systems, lights, and plumbing. We diagnose issues during regular visits and schedule repairs as needed.

Why is my pool cloudy even though chlorine levels are fine?

Cloudy water is usually caused by poor filtration, high pH, high calcium hardness, or early-stage algae. We will diagnose the root cause during your next visit and restore clarity.

Should I clean the pool during winter?

Yes. Even if the pool is not being used, regular winter maintenance prevents debris buildup, algae growth, and costly equipment damage. We offer discounted winter service plans.

Are your technicians certified and insured?

Yes. All Clearpool technicians are background-checked, fully insured, and trained in pool chemistry, equipment repair, and safety protocols.
